    ‘Deep discounts by e-com firms hitting GST revenue’  

    The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has written to Finance Minister alleging loss of GST revenue to the government due to deep discounting by e-commerce firms, particularly Amazon and Flipkart. In the letter, CAIT has asked the government to initiate investigation into the business model of such e-commerce firms providing deep discounts which also results in predatory pricing and abuse of dominant position in the market.
