    States to be asked to invoke Epidemic Disease Act: Centre

    In order to check the spread of novel coronavirus, the Group of Minister constituted to review the situation has decided that all states/UTs shall be advised to invoke Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 to enforce all advisories issued by the central government
