    BRICS AGAINST COVID-19 – ARTICLE

    At the fourth BRICS Summit in New Delhi (2012), the leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa considered the possibility of setting up a new Development Bank to mobilize resources for infrastructure and sustainable development projects in BRICS and other emerging economies, as well as in developing countries. They directed Finance Ministers to examine the feasibility and viability of this initiative, to set up a joint working group for further study, and to report back by the next Summit in 2013.

    In second question of quiz, option 2 must be right because NDB was established as per the Fortaliza agreement. In 5th summit it was only agreed upon.

    NDB establishment agreement was formally signed in 6th BRICS summit fortlaza (2014), in 2013 members only agreed upon.

    I feel the option 2 will be correct only,as it came in existance during in 2015 that held a meeting with russia with the board of governors of the NDB.So it came in existance on 2015 as a legal entitiy.(Do let me know if the point of view is wrong or right)

    Kindly mark correct answers as marking wrong answers can prove to be vey detrimental for students. This is the 3rd wrongly answered question just in a short span of 2 days.

    NDB was established vis a vis Fortaleza Declaration.

    DNS kindly ensure clarity in such questions as the answer is a bit more confusing with that Dublin Meet Point inserted in the explanation.
